My name is Sarah I’m a 32 year old nurse and mom. I work 3 different jobs and life hasn’t always worked in my favor. I’ve put myself on the back burner while striving to make the life of those I love easier. Last year I made a choice to take better care of the vessel God gave me to live life in.

Last August I underwent gastric sleeve surgery at my heaviest I was 299. I’ve lost over 100 pounds. Lots of things on and about my body have changed some I love some I’m still adjusting to. Even after a massive weight loss I still hold some insecurities.

Summer made things so easy you would think we knew each other for years the way we Interacted. A boudoir shoot is an intimate experience. Allowing someone to see the raw unedited version of yourself while in compromising positions while they hold a camera in their hand isn’t easy for everyone, unless that camera is in summers hands. I honestly forgot I was half naked with my tail in the air.

I wish I could come every week for a self confidence boost because that’s truly what this did. It was a freeing experience I fell back in love with myself after seeing some of the images. I saw myself in a way I haven’t before.My body has and continues to change and I’m glad I met summer so I can appreciate my body every step of the way.

I’m excited to continue to document these changes on film and love each step of the journey that I’m on the becoming the best version of myself.

I'm speechless.
I didn't do this photo shoot for myself, I did it as a gift of love for my sweet husband.
I expected that a professional photographer would work with me to get the best photos possible. But what I didn't know? I didn't know that I was THAT beautiful or THAT photogenic....
I didn't realize that my body was admirable. I didn't realize that I was smothering my natural beauty every day! I believe that we were fearfully and wonderfully made, but I hadn't thought that I was burying the beauty I was given and settling for "less than" or "mediocre"!Summer didn't just take some pictures and slap the price on an invoice... she has helped me rediscover who I am, and she built me up when I didn't believe in myself. She helped me see how beautiful I am in the eyes of my own husband and in the eyes of my friends! What I thought would be a "cute gift idea" has become so much more than a gift to my husband, it has become a gift to me.
And a life-long friendship with the wonderful person who showed me that I AM AMAZING!
100% convinced that I will never regret this first photoshoot!

A boudoir photoshoot has always been on my bucket list. Summer made me feel super comfortable even though I was nervous at first. I felt so pampered having my hair and makeup done. When she revealed my photos to me, I honestly cried. I have no idea how she captured me to look so sensuous. Summer is an amazingly talented photographer and knows how to capture your beauty with the perfect lighting and angles.
